Frank Manole was appointed as Raleigh Radiology’s first Chief Executive Officer in September 2024 following a unanimous vote by the Board of Directors.

A proven leader and forward-thinking executive, Manole joined as Chief Operating Officer in 2022 and has since led the organization through an operational transformation that will guide Raleigh Radiology into the future as a national model for independent radiology practice success. While navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of radiology and digital health, Manole is committed to meaningful collaboration with the organization’s physicians, referring providers, and health system partners. His steadfast focus remains on maintaining Raleigh Radiology’s long-standing reputation for delivering high-value imaging services throughout our community.

Before joining Raleigh Radiology, Manole held operational leadership roles at Raleigh-based Avance Healthcare and CVS Health. In clinical practice, Manole worked in several large hospital settings, including WakeMed Health & Hospitals and Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ. Over the years, Manole has served in adjunct and clinical professorship roles at Rutgers University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an active member and Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where he recently completed a four-year term on the Board of Directors.

Manole earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner studies from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-Kenan-Flagler Business School. He lives with his wife and three children in Raleigh, NC.
