FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (October 1, 2024)—Today, Raleigh Radiology announces the appointment
of Frank Manole, DNP, MBA, MSN, AANP, as its first Chief Executive Officer. This strategic leadership
move follows the recent appointment of a new Board President and the announcement of a new
leadership structure earlier this month. Manole was named CEO after a unanimous vote by its
physician-led Board of Directors.
Manole brings over 20 years of operational leadership and clinical expertise, having held numerous
leadership roles of increasing responsibility over the years. He joined Raleigh Radiology as Chief
Operating Officer in 2022 and has since led the organization through an operational transformation –
focusing on building the infrastructure needed to address the needs of its healthcare partners and
patients today and well into the future.
“We are thrilled to have Frank serve as our organization’s first CEO,” says Dr. John Bardini, President of
Raleigh Radiology. “His proven track record of success, wealth of knowledge, and innovative thinking will
support our continued focus on meeting the radiology needs of our referring physician partners, health
systems, and patients. I’m confident that this exciting transition will position our independent practice for
success as we navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of radiology and digital health.”
As CEO, Manole will work closely with the organization’s Board of Directors, physicians, and health
system partners to achieve its strategic and operational goals.
“I’m thrilled and humbled to work alongside such an exemplary team of physicians and professionals in
this new role to support the delivery of outstanding patient care in this community,” says Manole. “Working
in constructive collaboration with our physicians, leaders, and partners, I look forward to driving Raleigh
Radiology into the future as a national model for independent radiology practice success.”
Prior to joining Raleigh Radiology, Manole held operational leadership roles at Raleigh-based Avance
Healthcare and CVS Health. In clinical practice, Manole worked in several large hospital settings,
including WakeMed Health & Hospitals and Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ. Over the years,
Manole has served in adjunct and clinical professorship roles at both Rutgers University and the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an active member and Fellow of the American
Association of Nurse Practitioners, where he recently completed a four-year term on the Board of
Directors.
Manole earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science degree in Acute Care
Nurse Practitioner studies from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He received his Master of
Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-Kenan-Flagler
Business School. He lives with his wife and three children in Raleigh, NC.
